Meet Brittany

I had the pleasure of taking Brittany's senior portraits last week. We started outdoors at Krape Park-her boyfriend even joined in for a few-then we headed back to the studio to use my famous "brick wall". Then it was into the studio with her red dress-which looks awesome in the pictures-good choice for an outfit Brittany!! Here are a few of my favorites from her her session.

Any individual that has been diagnosed with breast cancer or completed treatment within the past 12 months qualifies for a Think Pink session. Sessions are available to document the fight before or during treatment or to celebrate the victory when treatment is completed.
Please call or email me if you have any questions or if you would like to set up a Think Pink Session.

About:
Think Pink Photography was founded in October 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer. We are a non-profit organization that serves two main purposes - celebrating life and supporting the cause. Through our photography network, we are helping breast cancer survivors and their supporters to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Through donations and various fundraising efforts, all profits from Think Pink Photography will be donated to The Beverly Family Foundation. As a 3-time breast cancer survivor, Danielle Beverly and her husband Eric joined together to form a foundation dedicated to promoting education, increasing awareness, and providing support and resources for families who have been touched by breast cancer. As Think Pink Photography grows, so will the opportunities for you to become involved and support this important cause. I encourage you to sign up for our newsletter (on the Think Pink website and Think Pink blog) and tell your friends and family about Think Pink Photography. Awareness is everything and we can't be successful without you. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, I encourage you to view our website, make a donation, or hire a photographer that supports Think Pink Photography! If you hire me, mention Think Pink and I will make a personal donation to the organization. And ask me about the Think Pink Collection for storyboards and notecards - I'll post samples on another blog. With a purchase, I will also make a personal donation!

Future Chiefs fan?

Well dad is a huge fan, so this little guy is too! Rayce is turning one in a couple of weeks, so we did a birthday cake session. We started out in the Chiefs outfit and worked our way to the cake. I think he had a lot of fun with the cake-although he needed a little help from mom digging into it to start with.

Jeff & Stacey

Yep, another engagement session. These two were a lot of fun, and up for anything! We went out to Krape Park for their session. We walked around the park a little and then ended up at Flagstaff-one of my favorite areas of the park. I asked if they wanted to go swing-and they didn't really answer me-so I decided for them!! Glad I did though, because it is one of my favorite pictures.

What a cute couple!

Meet Ryan and Lisa. We started out their engagement session at the studio and used my "sweet apple" background-doesn't it look yummy!!! We then went out to Krape Park for a few casual shots. We got talking about how we like this time of the year with all the fall colors, so I was happy to have found a shaded area with leaves-the session ended with them throwing leaves at each other! They were such a fun couple to be around and I can't wait for their wedding next May!

I hope you enjoy your sneak peak!

Maternity Session

Your pregnancy is a special time in your life. Documenting that stage in your life through photographs will provide you with wonderful memories that will last forever. Amy and Kevin came to me wanting to do just that. She brought a couple of outifts of her own she wanted to use, along with a pair of baby booties...how cute!! Then we used a large piece of fabric and draped it around her to show off her growing belly.

If you are interested in a maternity session of your own, give me a call and we can discuss the different options available for you. Maternity sessions work the best within the 8th and 9th month of your pregnancy.
